At Water Forged Fishing Tackle, every leader is individually hand-built and carefully inspected before it leaves us. While returns are uncommon, we stand behind the quality of our products and want every customer to purchase with confidence.

Returns

 

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have two options.

 

Option 1 – Return for a Full Refund

You may return unused products in their original packaging at your own expense.

Once the returned items have been received and inspected, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Option 2 – Keep the Product

If returning the product is not worthwhile, you may choose to keep the leaders and receive a 50% refund of the purchase price.

Warranty

We proudly stand behind the craftsmanship of every Water Forged leader.

​

If a leader fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace it free of charge.

What Is Covered

 

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, including failures caused by workmanship or component assembly.

 

What Is Not Covered

 

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear

• Damage caused by rocks, timber, or other underwater structure

• Damage caused by fish teeth

• Improper use or misuse

• Damage resulting from incorrect knots or rigging

• General abrasion accumulated through normal fishing use

 

Fluorocarbon leaders are designed to withstand demanding fishing conditions, but no fishing leader is indestructible.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, please contact us through our website and include:

• A detailed description of how the failure occurred

• The species being targeted (if applicable)

• The circumstances surrounding the failure

• Clear photographs showing the failed leader, including the exact location where the failure occurred

 

This information helps us determine whether the failure resulted from a manufacturing defect or normal use.

If we determine the failure was caused by a manufacturing defect, we will replace the leader at no cost to you.
